The protest held on the 8th May 2004 on Main Road Lakeside was very successful. We raised a lot of awareness:
- Around 200 people joined the protest at various stages during the day
- At any one time there were around 100 protesters lining the pavement with posters
- Around 600 people submitted objection forms or signed the objection petition
- Many cars hooted in support of the protest
